Evaluating the Effectiveness of the Disability Discrimination (NI) Order 2006 Duties (2009)
This report (with Simon Bridges Associates and Sheila Rogers Ltd) evaluated the effectiveness of the Disability Discrimination (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 and contributed to the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland's statutory review of the duties. A collaboration between NHS Board providing guidance in creating single equality schemes
This document provides guidance for health boards in Scotland on how to create a single equality scheme. It was produced in conjunction with NHS Ayrshire and Arran, NHS Education, NHS Forth Valley, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, NHS Highland, NHS Information Services, NHS Lanarkshire and NHS Lothian. This series of reports contributed to the Scottish Government's duty to report on the progress towards achieving the disability duties in Scotland. The reports were produced by a consortium under the auspices of the Centre for Research in Education Inclusion and Diversity. McIlwhan Consulting lead the justice project.
